My work consists mostly of editing English and German texts and translating texts from German, English, French and Russian into English or German. As an editorial assistant for Mountain Research and Development, an English-language peer-reviewed journal, I try to keep articles in line with our stylesheet and do some of the language editing. I enjoy the multifaceted nature of my job, particularly the wide range of different types of texts I work with: research papers, newsletters, project reports, scientific publications, websites, position papers, and many more. My favourite contents are intercultural and social issues as well as earth sciences. In addition to my work on texts I also enjoy teaching the Russian language to several of my colleagues at CDE.
